Null Squared was started by two software engineers specializing in software development for ZigBee, smart energy, home automation, embedded systems, and Python.

We look at the whole picture to give you the best solution, striving for simplicity with an emphasis on testing. Our high standards result in software that's stable and easy to work with.

We have 8 years combined experience working within the ZigBee Alliance on Smart Energy resolving specification issues, new feature development, device certification (including golden units), contributions at quarterly meetings and more. Developing a leading Smart Energy gateway (ESI) involved working extensively with device vendors, service providers, and utilities to solve interoperability issues and deliver solutions. We know ZigBee inside and out: 802.15.4, routing, security, ZDO, ZCL, and ZSE.

We are especially proficient with Digi products, including the Connect Port X2 gateways and wireless XBee modules.
